The Maggots that feed on mind
Devour eternity
Empty the eyes
And swallow hunger
Only a paltry pang remains
Insufficient
A dying pain
When I look into your eyes
My own star
And lost is the real work
That such loves mar
O where's the decree
To sanction release?
The maggots, the beasts, never cease

I knew and worked with Ms. Fenig when she taught classess at Non Traditional For Women. She had been teaching for a few years and back then I knew that one day she would find fame with her writings, being so thoughtful and insightful. I'm happy for her success.
